Dr. Edgar’s most recent research project and publications focus on justice and reconciliation issues in war-to-peace transitions and post-conflict peace building. In 2008-10 he conducted field research in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Kosovo and northern Uganda, and he continues to follow closely contemporary developments in those countries. Other research interests include Canadian and US foreign and defence policies; defence industries and defence trade; and NATO-UN relations. Dr. Edgar currently also serves as the Executive Director of the Academic Council on the United Nations System, with its secretariat based at Wilfrid Laurier University, and teaches courses in the Department of Political Science.
